Doggy Days (According to my iPhone)

Let me start this post by apologizing for being MIA for the last month. With so many changes happening in my life - something had to give. But now I am back and ready to go!

Instead of boring you with what I have been up to, I thought it would be way more fun and a whole lot cuter to show you what Stella's has been up to...

Chilling with her cousin Geddy Lee

Turning our fresh laundry into a recliner

Keeping cool in the fountain at Wychwood Barns
Enjoying evening walks her parents

Hanging out at home
Downloading iPhone apps
Getting smothered by her mama

Taking a mid-day shloof
Playing at Cherry Beach

Taking a dip

Drying off from a swim

Strutting her stuff on the beach
Drinking her father's tea

Interning for her mama

Winter Woofstock

Every summer, Toronto has a wonderful dog festival called Woofstock. This weekend, they are running their first ever Winter Woofstock and I am uber excited to see what amazing products I can find for my little lion.

This morning, Stella and her friends Lenny and Mabel woke up at the crack of dawn to make their TV debut on Breakfast Television to help promote the event. The kiddies were decked out in the cutest holiday outfits and I must admit - I went a little snap happy (especially since I just got the iPhone 4 and the Hipstamatic app takes the coolest photos ever!).

Stella goes fishing for ice

We take lots of photos and videos of Stella but this one is by far my favourite. Watch as she fishes for the ice in her water bowl. Once she succeeds in getting one - her quest to keep hold of it is priceless.

Dinner for Pugs

We haven't yet invested in a fancy food and water bowl for Stella. Lately, I've been looking around and decided that when we do get them for her, it will be the ones that are raised off the ground (I feel like she is eating off the floor otherwise). The other day, I happened to be entertaining myself on LePug blog (I urge you to head over - Porky and Brownie are hilarious!) and I saw this feeding station from FunnyFur. It's possibly the cutest idea I have seen. Even better, it has the perfect blend of style and humour that Lunny and I really enjoy. All of the colour options are fabulous - I would be hard pressed to pick my fav - maybe we will let Stella decide.

Cute Pug Alert!

I interrupt this regularly scheduled post to bring you the cutest pug on earth. Poor Stella was spayed yesterday and now must sport a cone for the next few days. She is not at all happy about it and her sad little face is killing us.

Dapper Doggy

If I thought I was obsessed with dogs before we got Stella - I didn't know what was coming! It's like my senses have become heightened by all things furry and four-legged. Though I still gravitate towards pugs (I'm biased of course), any bred with a flat, smooched face will do! Enter this adorable vintage-style portrait of Hugo, the Boston Terrier, from DeLaBelle's Etsy shop. Sure he is not as cute as Stella... but come on now, who is?

Sleepy Stella

I can't believe that I have only blogged about Stella once since we got her! All of our energy has been going towards making sure she is adjusted and happy, so I really haven't had the time to upload the pictures we have taken off our camera. Now I can finally share them with you.

I must say, she is definitely her mother's daughter - she can fall asleep anywhere! My favourite is when she falls asleep next to her water bowl (she actually fell asleep in it once). This weekend, we got her a little puppy bed so that she could sleep in it during the day. She seems to love it but often still opts for sleeping on the hardwood floor. What a funny girl!
