Gelato by the Bar

Ice cream is good but gelato is much better - at least that's my opinion. Naturally, I got really excited when I stumbled on the concept of gelato bars. It's like having an Italian gelateria in your freezer. Looks like you can pick up these delectable single serve bars at your local Whole Foods (let's hope they are available in Canada). I will have to swing by and find out.

It's the Bees Knees

Like a bee is to honey, I'm am all over this adorable packaging for Babees Organic Honey that I saw on Lovely Package. I just love how the bottle resembles an actual bee! It's so subtle and brilliant.

Elephant Tea Caddies

You have heard me proclaim my love for package design and for tea. Naturally, I get really excited when those two loves come together! These tea caddies from Williamson Tea are so charming and remind me of Moulin Rouge. They would look great on my tea shelf (yes, I have one).

It's Fusilli Jerry!

I could watch Seinfeld episodes over and over again and never get sick of them. I have so many favourites, its hard to choose just one. "Marble Rye", "Frogger", "The Library", but "Fusilli Jerry" never lets me down (ahh the Assman - classic!). When I saw this pasta packaging design, I couldn't help but think of Kramer's carb-creation (especially because its of the Chrysler Building in NYC).

Tea Time

The best part of my night is lounging around in a towel (post-shower) and sipping on sweet tea. My cupboard is always stocked with our favourite go-to flavours from President's Choice - Chocolatey Chai and Moroccan Mint. I also keep Creme Caramel and Read My Lips from David's Tea in high rotation. The only thing better than good quality tea is finding really cute tins to house it. I have a crush on the packaging of Kusmi Tea. I found some yummy sounding flavours that I would love to try!

Gap 1969 Record Sleeve

I am going nuts over this packaging idea from the Gap. To celebrate their 40th anniversary, they released limited edition denim and tees in 12 inch record sleeves. Click here for more details.

What a lovely package

My boyfriend and I have a great appreciation for product packaging and branding. Just yesterday, he showed me Lovely Package, a very cool site showcasing the best in package design. With endless amounts of strong graphics and unique packaging ideas picking out my favourites became harder and harder. Here is a taste of the ones that really caught my eye.
