It's been wet and dreary in the city lately - it's the kind of weather that you feel deep in your bones.  It's also the kind of weather that makes you want to curl up on the sofa with a cup of hot cocoa, a warm blanket and the soothing scent of a beautiful candle.

Bedroom Makeover

This weekend we finally got bedside tables and lamps for our bedroom. It's amazing what a difference they make in the room.

The next step is new bedding. I had had my eye on a particular Jonathan Adler pattern that turned out to be discontinued. After a little digging and browsing, I found a similar pattern duvet cover on eBay and for a fraction of the price. I can't wait to see how it looks with our black lacquer bed. I'm thinking I will need to inject some colour with either some canary yellow or turquoise pillows.
